The MCE IGL-SM is a load break isolator supplied in a powder coated mild steel enclosure, used for ready-to-install isolation of motors, machines and distribution circuits. It suits electricians, panel builders and industrial maintenance teams, and is available from 125A to 630A in 3 and 4 pole versions.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

• An isolator is a switch only. It does not protect against overload or short circuit, so protect the circuit with suitably rated breakers or fuses.
• Select a rating at or above the full-load current of the supply or equipment being isolated.
• Check the pole count against your supply and whether the neutral must also be isolated.
• Check the enclosure dimensions above against the space available before ordering.
• Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified person, with a Certificate of Compliance issued where required.
