Pump Protection Relay with Phase Failure Protection

The A-PPR Pump Protection Relay provides sensitive overload and underload protection for pump motors, with phase failure protection where fitted, and is particularly suited to borehole and pump set applications where dry-running or phase loss is a risk. It is suitable for electricians, borehole installers and pump maintenance teams.

• Application: Overload/underload and phase failure protection for pump motors
• Detection: Current-transformer-based overload/underload with adjustable set/trip point
• Borehole recovery: DIP-switch underload re-start timer, 20 minutes to 8 hours
• Mounting: Plug-in, 11 pin base

• Adjustable overload/underload set point with LED indication and 0-10 second trip delay
• DIP-switch selectable underload re-start timer (6 settings, 20 minutes to 8 hours) allows borehole water recovery before restarting
• Phase failure protection included where fitted, reducing single-phasing risk to the motor
• Fixed 5 second start-up delay avoids nuisance trips on motor inrush
