The Solar Pal PV CYCLONE is a 3" DC brushless screw (helical rotor) solar borehole pump designed for off-grid and load-shedding-resilient water supply. It runs directly off solar panels via its low-voltage DC brushless motor and screw pump element, making it a practical choice for farmers, borehole users and rural or off-grid properties that need reliable water without relying on mains power.

Please note: Solar panels, a weatherproof DC isolator, borehole cable extensions and mounting/wiring accessories beyond the installation pack are not included unless specifically listed above. A weatherproof DC isolator is required to isolate the panels for maintenance — refer to the ODD16 to 32D/E2/E4/E22 range for selection according to your application, or contact Zisabo for guidance.
Installation & Compatibility Notes
- Confirm which model you need based on your required head (water depth + friction/rising main losses) and flow — CYCLONE-77 for up to 77m head, CYCLONE-109 for up to 109m head.
- Size your solar panel array to the optimum input voltage range and minimum power shown in the spec table — panels are sold separately.
- Confirm your borehole diameter is 4" or larger before ordering — this is a 3" pump.
- A weatherproof DC isolator must be fitted between the panels and controller for safe maintenance isolation.
- Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified installer.
