Installation & Compatibility Notes

Confirm your discharge pipework matches the 2" GAS (BSP) outlet before ordering, and ensure your sump or pit is large enough for the pump and float switch to operate without obstruction. This pump is suitable for non-aggressive sewage water and rainwater only — it must not be used for clean drinking water. Free passage is limited to 50mm; larger solids or fibrous material may cause clogging. This is a single-phase 230V product and must be installed by a qualified electrician on a correctly protected circuit (RCD/earth leakage protection required); do not attempt DIY electrical wiring. Maximum immersion depth is 7m — do not exceed this, and never allow the pump to run dry. This DAB product is supplied through Zisabo, an authorised DAB Pumps distributor and service centre in South Africa, and carries a 24-month manufacturer warranty from date of purchase, subject to correct installation and application.
