Emjay Nylon Elbow – 90° Barbed Irrigation Fitting

The Emjay Nylon Elbow is a 90° barbed irrigation fitting manufactured by Microjet Irrigation Systems in South Africa. It is used to change the direction of flexible polyethylene (poly) irrigation pipe and is a standard fitting in drip, micro-irrigation, garden, and agricultural systems. Available in sizes from 10mm to 80mm, including a 15x13mm reducing elbow for convenient step-down changes in pipe direction.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

Select the elbow size that matches your poly irrigation pipe internal diameter. For the 15x13mm reducing elbow, the larger barb connects to 15mm pipe and the smaller to 13mm pipe. Push each pipe end firmly onto the barbed end until it reaches the collar stop. Use a hose clamp on each side for high-pressure or vibration-prone installations. This fitting is designed for flexible poly pipe only — not for rigid PVC pipe.
