Emjay Nylon Reducer – Barbed Reducing Coupling

The Emjay Nylon Reducer is a barbed push-fit reducing coupling manufactured by Microjet Irrigation Systems in South Africa. It connects two sections of flexible polyethylene (poly) irrigation pipe of different diameters, allowing a step-down or step-up in pipe size within a single fitting. Used across drip, micro-irrigation, garden, and agricultural pipe systems. Available in a wide range of reducing size combinations from 13x10mm to 80x65mm.

Please note: Poly pipe and other fittings are not included. The variant size denotes larger pipe x smaller pipe (e.g. 20x15 reduces from 20mm to 15mm).

Installation & Compatibility Notes

Select the reducer with the size combination matching your two pipe diameters. The larger barb connects to the larger pipe and the smaller barb to the smaller pipe. Push each pipe end firmly onto its respective barb until it reaches the collar stop. Confirm both pipe internal diameters before ordering. For high-pressure applications, use a hose clamp on each side.
