HURRICANE DC Brushless Surface Solar Pump

The Solar Pal PV HURRICANE is a DC brushless surface solar pump designed to boost water pressure and flow directly from a solar array, without needing mains AC power or a separate inverter. It suits homeowners, farmers and off-grid or load-shedding-affected properties needing a self-contained solar booster pump for tanks, boreholes feeding a tank, or general water transfer.

Please note: Solar panels, a weatherproof DC isolator, and mounting/wiring accessories beyond the installation pack are not included unless specifically listed above. A weatherproof DC isolator is required to isolate the panels for maintenance — refer to the ODD16 to 32D/E2/E4/E22 range for selection according to your application, or contact Zisabo for guidance.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

• Confirm which model you need based on your required head and flow — HURRICANE-30 for lower head, HURRICANE-65 for the highest head in this range.
• Size your solar panel array to the optimum input voltage range and minimum power shown in the spec table — panels are sold separately.
• This pump must be primed before first use — it is not self-priming.
• A weatherproof DC isolator must be fitted between the panels and controller for safe maintenance isolation.
• Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified installer.
