KRM Septic Tank – In Store Collection Only

The KRM Septic Tank is an LDPE underground sewage tank designed for domestic and light commercial septic system installations. Available in 1 750, 4 000, and 6 000 litre capacities, these tanks are manufactured in Black LDPE and are suitable for use as primary septic holding tanks in residential and rural sewage treatment systems. Available for in-store collection only from Zisabo Park Rynie, KZN South Coast.

Please note: Inlet and outlet fittings, risers, lids, distribution boxes, and soakaway materials are not included. Installation must be carried out by a qualified contractor.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

• Septic tank installation must comply with applicable local authority regulations and SANS standards for on-site sewage treatment in South Africa.
• Tank sizing should be based on number of users, daily wastewater output, and local authority requirements.
• The tank must be installed below ground in a properly prepared excavation with correct bedding and backfill.
• Do not install in areas with high groundwater that may cause the empty tank to float.
• Confirm excavation dimensions match the tank dimensions before ordering.
• A soakaway, French drain, or secondary treatment system is required downstream of the septic tank. This is not supplied.
