The KRM Vertical Water Tank Heavy Duty (SG1.8) is a thick-walled LDPE upright storage tank suitable for liquids with a specific gravity of up to 1.8. This includes denser chemical solutions, certain industrial liquids, and applications where the standard or medium duty tank grades are not appropriate. Available in sizes from 500 litres to 20 000 litres, it is suitable for agricultural chemical storage, industrial liquid storage, and heavy-duty domestic applications.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

Rated Heavy Duty (SG1.8). Confirm the specific gravity of your stored liquid before ordering. Do not store liquids exceeding SG1.8.
Confirm LDPE chemical compatibility before purchase.
Place on a flat, stable, level surface. A reinforced concrete base is strongly recommended for large sizes.
Check height clearance for 15 000l (340cm) and 20 000l (395cm) models.
Collection only – confirm lifting equipment availability before collecting tanks 4 000l and above.

KRM Plastics vertical water tanks carry an 8-year manufacturer warranty, subject to correct installation and correct application (SG1.8 maximum). Contact Zisabo before ordering if unsure whether this grade is suitable.
