Nylon Insert Male Adaptor – Barbed Poly Pipe x BSP Male Thread, 15mm to 50mm

The Nylon Insert Male Adaptor connects a poly pipe run to a BSP female-threaded fitting, valve, or sprinkler. One end is barbed and inserts into the poly pipe bore; the other end has a BSP male thread for screwing into a valve, tap, filter, or any fitting with a BSP female inlet. This is the standard fitting used to transition from poly pipe to a threaded connection in irrigation and water supply systems.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

Select the barbed end size to match your poly pipe bore, and the BSP thread size to match your valve or fitting female port. Apply PTFE tape to the BSP male thread before assembly to ensure a leak-free threaded connection. Do not overtighten. For sustained pressure, clamp the barbed end with a poly pipe clamp.
