Nylon Insert Plug – Barbed End Cap for LDPE Poly Pipe, 12mm to 50mm

The Nylon Insert Plug is a barbed end cap for sealing the open end of a Class 3 or Class 6 LDPE poly pipe. Push the barbed end into the pipe bore to cap it off – no adhesive, clamp, or tools needed for basic installation. Use it to temporarily cap an unused branch, seal a line end during construction, or permanently close a pipe end that is no longer in use.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

Select the size matching your poly pipe bore. Push the barbed end firmly into the pipe until fully seated. For sustained pressure applications, clamp the barbed plug end with a poly pipe clamp. Confirm the pipe is Class 3 or Class 6 LDPE before ordering.
