Polyprop Reducing Fittings – Nipples, Bushes, Caps and Plugs

Polyprop Reducing Fittings from Microjet Irrigation Systems include reducing nipples, threaded reducing bushes (standard and large-diameter SAB type), female threaded caps, male threaded plugs, straight nipples, and female reducing sockets. These fittings are used for reducing between BSP thread sizes, capping off threaded ports, and closing unused connections in irrigation and water systems.

Key Features

• Reducing Nipple — male-to-male thread reducer for step-down connections between two female sockets
• Threaded Reducing Bush — screws into a female socket to reduce the port size (up to 2" x 1½")
• SAB Reducing Bush — large-diameter reducing bush available from 2½" x 2" up to 4" x 3"
• Female Cap — seals off unused female BSP ports
• Male Plug — seals unused male BSP outlets
• Straight Nipple — male BSP both ends for joining two female connections
• Female Reducing Socket — reduces from one female socket to a smaller female socket

Please note: PTFE tape and other fittings are not included. Confirm thread size and gender before ordering. For reducing fittings, the size format is larger x smaller.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

Apply PTFE tape to male threads before assembly. Do not overtighten polyprop fittings. The Threaded Reducing Bush screws into an existing female socket to reduce the port to a smaller size. The Female Cap screws onto an existing male thread. For the SAB large-diameter reducing bushes, confirm your pipe nominal size before ordering. The Buttress Threaded Poly Flow Bin Adaptor is listed separately for tank connections.
