Ring Type Current Transformer 100mm ID – 1200/5A to 3000/5A | MCE CP140/100

The MCE CP140/100 is a ring type (window) current transformer with a 100mm inner diameter and a 5A secondary output. It steps a measured load current down to 5A for ammeters, kWh meters and monitoring equipment on high-current circuits, and suits electricians, panel builders and maintenance teams. Six ratios are available from 1200/5A to 3000/5A.

• Application: Current measurement on high-current feeders and incomers

Installation & Compatibility Notes

• Select the ratio based on the maximum load current of the circuit.
• Confirm the primary cable or busbar fits through the 100mm window before ordering.
• Do not leave the secondary open-circuit while the primary is energised.
• Check that the connected meter is rated for a 5A CT secondary and that the burden suits the CT.
• Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified person.
