Ring Type Current Transformer 40mm ID – 150/5A to 300/5A | MCE CP62/40

The MCE CP62/40 is a ring type (window) current transformer with a 40mm inner diameter and a 5A secondary output. It steps a measured load current down to 5A for ammeters, kWh meters and monitoring equipment, and suits electricians, panel builders and maintenance teams. Four ratios are available from 150/5A to 300/5A.

• Application: Current measurement for ammeters, energy meters and monitoring instruments
• Inner diameter: 40mm window for the primary conductor
• Ratios: 150/5A, 200/5A, 250/5A and 300/5A, 5A secondary
• Accuracy: Class 1.0, 5VA burden

Installation & Compatibility Notes

• Select the ratio based on the maximum load current of the circuit.
• Confirm the primary cable or busbar fits through the 40mm window before ordering.
• Do not leave the secondary open-circuit while the primary is energised.
• Check that the connected meter is rated for a 5A CT secondary and that the burden suits the CT.
• Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified person.
