Ring Type Current Transformer 80mm ID – 750/5A to 2000/5A | MCE CP104/80

The MCE CP104/80 is a ring type (window) current transformer with an 80mm inner diameter and a 5A secondary output. It steps a measured load current down to 5A for ammeters, kWh meters and monitoring equipment, and suits electricians, panel builders and maintenance teams. Five ratios are available from 750/5A to 2000/5A.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

• Select the ratio based on the maximum load current of the circuit.
• Confirm the primary cable or busbar fits through the 80mm window before ordering.
• Do not leave the secondary open-circuit while the primary is energised.
• Check that the connected meter is rated for a 5A CT secondary and that the burden suits the CT.
• Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified person.
