• This fitting has an IP33 rating — protected against solid objects larger than 2.5mm and vertically falling water only. It is suitable for sheltered or covered outdoor areas (such as under an eave or porch roof) rather than fully exposed, rain-facing locations. If your installation will be exposed to direct rain or wind-driven water, consider one of our IP54 or higher rated fittings instead.
• Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified electrician.
