Surface Mount Appliance Inlet – IP44 & IP67 | 16A to 63A | 3P, 4P & 5P | MCE

The MCE Surface Mount Appliance Inlet range is a set of IEC 60309 / CEE industrial inlets that mount on the outside of a machine, generator housing or enclosure to give it a standard plug-in power connection. They suit electricians, panel builders, equipment manufacturers and maintenance teams who need a robust, standard inlet in 16A, 32A or 63A with a choice of IP44 or IP67 protection.

Please note: Plugs, couplers, cables, glands and mounting enclosures are not included.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

• Confirm your supply voltage and phase configuration first: 3P for single-phase 230V, 4P for three-phase without neutral, 5P for three-phase with neutral.
• Match the inlet current rating and pin count to the plug or coupler you will connect to it.
• Choose IP44 for covered or splash-prone areas and IP67 (-X codes) for exposed outdoor or wet environments. 63A is IP67 only.
• Fit suitable cable glands and seal entries correctly to maintain the IP rating.
• Installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with SANS 10142.
