Red Rhino RDP50 2" Diesel Water Pump

The Red Rhino RDP50 is a 2" self-priming diesel water pump built for heavier-duty, longer-running water transfer than a petrol pump. It is suitable for farmers, contractors and agricultural users who need dependable continuous pumping, offering a 28m maximum head and the fuel efficiency of diesel power. Available with manual (RDP50) or electric (RDP50E) start.

• Application: Suitable for farm irrigation, continuous water transfer and dewatering.
• Key specification: 28m max head, 6m max suction depth.
• Connection size: 50mm (2") inlet and outlet.
• Start options: Manual pull-start (RDP50) or electric key-start (RDP50E).

Key Features

• Diesel engine: More fuel-efficient than petrol for long-duration, continuous pumping.
• Self-priming design: Draws water up from below pump level once the suction line is sealed and primed.
• 50mm ports: Suited to higher-volume irrigation and transfer work than smaller petrol pumps.
• Electric start option: The RDP50E variant adds a battery-electric start for easier daily starting (battery not included).

Installation & Compatibility Notes

Suitable for clean to moderately dirty water — sediment and debris can damage the impeller and seals. Suction and delivery hoses, camlock fittings, foot valve, fuel and (for RDP50E) a suitable starter battery are not included and must be sized/sourced separately. Confirm your required flow rate against the 28m max head and 6m max suction before ordering.
