SABS | Pex Pipe

A multilayer pipe is a pipe made up of an aluminium layer that is “sandwiched” between two cross-linked polyethylene or PEX. Mlp pipes are replacing copper tubing in the household plumbing industry as it is both cost effective and low maintenance. It can be used for both cold and hot water, however, it cannot be used directly from hot water cylinders, where copper tubing must still be used.
